Welcome to Palm Bay Fishing Outfitters!
Palm Bay Fishing Outfitters has been locally owned since 1998. Captain Al & Tina Bermitz, as of April 2003. Captain Al enjoys fishing and teaching other how to fish every chance he gets. Most of the time you are greeted by Tina's or Dave's smiling face. They enjoys fishing and listening to the stories that the customers have to tell. They also enjoy showing customers what to use, how to use it and where to go. We love to give free advice. It is the personal small business touch that we take pride in! Some days you are also greeted by our two girls, Samantha and Ariel as well as our ferrets Anastasia and Angel who loves the extra attention.
In 1998 the store originally started out as B & S Bait and Tackle. It all started on a small budget and a love of fishing. After a great deal of time and effort it had become clear that the store needed more space and easier boat access to accommodate our freshwater anglers and to attract new saltwater anglers as well.
In September of 2005, we moved to our new location at 5505 Babcock St. With over 2500 Sq. Feet of space, we now can cater to all your fishing needs. This new location gave us greater visibility to saltwater anglers heading to the river and our freshwater anglers heading to Stick Marsh/Farm 13.
